Nolan County Probation and Bond Supervision
The 32nd Judicial District CSCD covers Nolan, Mitchell, and Fisher Counties. Its Nolan County office is inside the courthouse in Sweetwater. It serves the local probation side of the comparison, not state parole. The office also lists a Bond Supervision Contact, an important distinction because court-supervised bond occurs while a case is pending and is not probation after judgment.

A public legal-status check should start with the court order and docket. Department staff can provide only information they are authorized to disclose. If someone left the jail on bond, obtain the release event from the jail and the bond order from the court. Do not relabel a bond-supervision contact as a probation officer or treat bond release as a completed criminal case.
Split Hours and Nolan County Web Reporting
The Nolan office publishes a midday closure between its morning and afternoon reporting periods. That detail matters when planning an in-person visit or a time-sensitive call. Confirm current hours before travel because posted schedules can change.

Reconfirm the office's services and hours directly before visiting. This resource is separate from supervision verification. A DPS identification visit does not show parole compliance, probation status, or discharge, and the reentry guide is not a substitute for a TDCJ record or Nolan County judgment.
When Nolan County Supervision Ends
Release from a secure facility and discharge from legal authority are different events. Parole and mandatory supervision allow the sentence to continue in the community. The TDCJ result should be read for the specific type of release and for whether supervision remains. When the question is whether TDCJ authority ended, a labeled discharge status or date is more relevant than an earlier parole date.
For probation, completion should be supported by the court's discharge order or another official case entry, not simply the passage of the original term. Revocation, modification, early discharge, and other court actions can change the path. Obtain the signed document when exact wording matters.
